How to Color adjacent cells wehn using conditional formatting

    Hello,

Im trying to figure out how to color adjacent cells based on the results of a conditional format on a single cell.

For instance in the example below i want to conditional format Column D based on the percentage. For instance percentages between 0 - 20% would be green, percentages between 21 and 60% would be yellow and percentages between 61 and 100% would be red. I have no problem doing the conditional format solely on column D itself but i would like all of the cells within that row to be highlighted with the same color as whatever color is in column D. I really dont want to do thius manually as there are thousands of rows on my spreadsheet.

    HTML Code:
    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Can you post the conditional formatting formula you would use for just column D?

You probably just need to lock the Column reference, like $D1 instead of just D1.
Then it can be applied to whatever column you like.
