I have the formula: ='Team Scores'!B184
Instead of showing the name that is in that cell, all I see is this same formula.
Ideas?

Perhaps you have set the Tools...Options....View....Formulas option?

I was having that same problem today. Right Click the cell --> Format Cell --> General
Then click in the cell and press Enter
Thanks for the suggestions, but none of that has taken care of the problem.
Is there perhaps a label ' marker at the beginning.
Failing that I suggest you upload the workbook.
Regards
Nevermind, found out how.
Copy of Baldwin League.xlsx
How would I upload the workbook?
Thanks again
The problem I'm referencing is on the Individual Scores sheet. It needs to pull data from Team Scores. It does for most, but not for a few.
The problematic cells are formatted as TEXT.
They need to be formatted as General.
And the critical step is to RE-Enter the formula after changing the format to General.
Thank you so much!
Great, glad to help.
