Hey all,
Thanks in advance for any assistance you might be able to offer to help me solve my problem. I should mention that I'm using Excel for Mac 2011. Here's what I'm trying to accomplish:
I currently have two worksheets. The first one contains employee information (e.g., names), the second one contains all training required for a particular employee. I would like to apply conditional formatting to a cell on the first worksheet (e.g., employee name) which evaluates each cell in the column on the second worksheet which contains the date the training certification expires for that employee. I have been able to get it to work if I set the criteria for the conditional formatting to evaluate a single cell on worksheet two, but not on a range of cells.
My goal is to have formatting associated with the cell containing the name of any employee listed on the first worksheet, change when any expiration date in the column containing that information on the second worksheet is less than the current date. I'm out of ideas...please help if you can. Thanks so much.
God bless,
Bill
