Employee current tensure to be ccalculated in Excel

    Hi,

Can you help me in condition formating in excel,

In the attached file I am looking for a formula, when I open the file , it will display the tenure of the person from current date and date of Joining, and if in current month if the employee is completing 1,2,3,4,5 years it will be highlighted with resp colours.

    Thanks

You can get the tenure in years with this formula in C8:

    =INT((B$6-B8)/365)

which can be copied down. Then you can apply conditional formatting to those cells to give you the colours in A1:A5.

    Hope this helps.
