    transposing formula?

    If i have a column of data, let's say A1 through A10 and I need to have that data transposed to another tab on row 10 (A10 through J10) is there a formula that can be used?

    hi jdrobin. assuming column of data in sheet1, go to the other tab & select A1:J10. type in:
    =TRANSPOSE(Sheet1!A1:A10)
    press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER

    another way:
    =INDEX(Sheet1!$A$1:$A$10,COLUMN())
    copy across

    Try this...

    Let's assume the data is on Sheet1 in the range A1:A10.

    Enter this formula in cell A10 of the other sheet and copy across to J10:

    =INDEX(Sheet1!$A1:$A10,COLUMNS($A10:A10))
