Shortcut to switch to manual calculation?

I have a worksheet with several formulas where multiple users enter data. Today I noticed that none of the formulas was calculating, and I discovered that the setting had been changed from automatic to manual. None of my users would know how to do this, and I'm trying to troubleshoot how it might have happened. Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch from auto to manual that someone could have inadvertently hit? I tried looking this up online, but found nothing.

shift M will change to manual calc
goto formulas on the ribbion
then look at calculations options
you will see manual - with a M underlined
then use Shift and M
and it will change to tick manual
then use Shift A
to go back to automatic

You could add a button above the ribbon on the tool bar. Select excel options/customise/all commands...scroll down to Calculate Options...add that
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Thank you. Even though it probably won't happen again, don't suppose there's any way to disable this?

disable what...the shortcut you just put on the tool bar?

Just go back into where you added it, and...remove it

Hi FDibbins--guess you didn't see my original post. I was asking because someone apparently accidentally switched things to manual when it needs to always be automatic (figured it had to be a shortcut, because that's the only way it could have happened accidentally). Thought if I could disable the shortcut, it couldn't ever happen again. Silly question, perhaps, but I appreciate everyone's input.

I hear what you are saying but this is a direct answer to post #4 - the stated solution did not work as described.
