your example and explanation were a little confusing. from whatever i could glean, i have prepared a workbook. i hope this helps you along your way.
it is always advisable to upload a sample workbook, rather than pasting data into the text box here because it does not retain formatting / layout etc.

CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.
