Add duty numbers to get weekly wages

    Sorry for this,

    Attachment 223274

What I would like to achieve is that on worksheet named "297 Middle" and on column K to ADD the weekly amount £ from each row (Duty number). Using the informations from the other worksheets.

    Regards,

    Oscar

Hi Oscar & Welcome to the Forum,

Tried to open your attachment but it does not seem to want to cooperate. Can you reattach the attachment?

Also, thank you for changing the title...

I'm not entirely sure what you are doing so a little explanation would help...

In the meantime you can also try in K11...

    =SUMIF('Daily Duty Roster'!$C$4:$U$37,MODE(D11:J11),'Daily Duty Roster'!E4:W37)*4

...but again have no idea what the times 4 means

Re: Add duty numbers to get weekly wages

Sugar, well spotted, it is actually *5, my bad, because that week I am doing duty 119, five days in a row (Mon-Fri) So I should be multiplying 5 times what it pays for that week.

Is there a way in excel to reference a cell value (like duty "119") in worksheet "297 Middle" and be equal to a currency on another worksheet example: E22 on Daily Duty Roster (worksheet)

See if this setup will help without getting into an overly complicated formula...

    In column E, G, I, K, M, O, and Q added a helper column which you can hide...

Column R will now hold the sum

    Excellent, thank you very much.

Another challenge solved, this time from you.

This is very useful, I don't understand the 3,0),"") on that formula, =IFERROR(VLOOKUP(D6,Table_Saturday,3,0),"")

I would be grateful if you could briefly explain this to me and I thank you again. Oh, yes, and why it has to be IFERROR??

    Regards
