Counting the number of parallel periods

not every1 can open .png files, myself included (company firewalls and stuff). It would be far better if you could upload a sample of your workbook, showing what you have, and an example of your expected outcome. Thanks

Having said that, have you tried using countifS()?

Thanks! attached you'll find the file. I thought of countifs, but I can't figure out how to do it properly because all the projects have to be compared to eachother, and there's no maximum to the number of parallel projects. In the master file, there +400k rows. Thanks for the help!
