    VLookup?

Sorry, I'm not an advanced Excel user but I am looking for help.

Here is what I am trying to do:

I have an excel file with multiple sheets. The first sheet is "All". It is a full list of names. All other sheets are broken down into categories. It contains the names from the "All" sheet organized into different sheets.

My question is this: how do I program the file so that if I cross out a name on the "All" sheet, it will also cross out the name anywhere else in the whole file?

    Re: VLookup?

This is not possible with any formula in Excel. As you said a program (VBA Procedure) can do this. You may need to Change Title suitably and move this query to the right forum (instead of Excel Formulas & Functions)
