    Comibining 2 Averageif formula

    Hi,

First, Please go through both the sheets of attached excel file.
Calculations in column E and F of 'Template' sheet based on the listbox in Column C and D.
I need to combine the formulas in column E and F in to one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Re: Comibining 2 Averageif formula

    Hi Dilipandey,

I have the following lists in Column C listbox "Total", "Gender", "Female"
    And have the following lists in Column D listbox "Total", "15-17", "18-24", "25-29", "30-34", "35-44", "45-54"

I want to use different combinations as below
    Col C ColD
    Total 15-17
    Male 35-44
    etc..
    .
    .

When I change the listbox values in column C or D, the values in column E and F should be changed.
We are fetching Gender and Age data from 'Cdata' sheet.

    Re: Comibining 2 Averageif formula

but why are you taking the average of Gender ?

If I change filters to "Male" and "35-44", what result you would want to see in column E and F ?

    Re: Comibining 2 Averageif formula

I am expecting the below results for "Male" and "35-44" combination.

    Gender(Column E) Age (Column F)
    5.672837143 7.04406
    9.268751429 7.518903333
    8.790747143 3.349606667
    9.124722857 8.09086
    15.44865714 17.34362
    4.143757143 4.09612
    3.850448571 2.58381
    5.019334286 4.663546667
    0.449178571 3.32753
    1.074434286 0.076126667
    2.094898571 0.577056667
    1.734615714 4.131806667
    5.849102857 6.300323333
    27.47851714 30.89662333

In Column G, I should get the values as below (without '+' or '/' plz, need to use average formula)

    6.358448571
    8.393827381
    6.070176905
    8.607791429
    16.39613857
    4.119938571
    3.217129286
    4.841440476
    1.888354286
    0.575280476
    1.335977619
    2.93321119
    6.074713095
    29.18757024

We are not taking the average for Gender or Age, we are taking average for 'Importance_Brand', 'Importance_HeadsetDesign' etc., which are available in 'Cdata' sheet.

    Thanks

    Re: Comibining 2 Averageif formula

okay... but in column G, you are taking average of column E and F which are Gender and Age respectively..

Can you upload a final workbook mentioning your correct expected outputs.. thx

    Re: Comibining 2 Averageif formula

Attached, I have used '+' and '/' in column G to get the output. We should not use these operators to get the output, instead of these operators we need to use the combined Averageif (mentioned in my first thread) formula since my requirement is like that.
