    Novice Having Trouble w/ VLOOKUP

Hello all. Thanks in advance for any help provided!

I'm a novice Excel user and usually try and self-teach when I run into problems but this one has me stumped at the moment.

I have 2x2 table on a daily cost sheet - which I email nightly - (# of Guests Lunch/Dinner, & per person sales averages for both) that I would like to not have to manually transcribe from another sheet. All of the values are in a table on another sheet. The formula needs to match the date (B2) at the top left corner of it's own sheet, find matching date ('March Budget'!A:A) on another in the same workbook, and return a value from that row but a difference column ('March Budget'!K:K).

    =VLOOKUP(B2,'March Budget'!A:A,'March Budget'!K:K)

Any glaring problem with my formula? I'm getting "#VALUE!"

No Dice. What's the thought behind the 11,0 return value?

EDIT: Wait, it does work. For some reason it was pasting as !A:A instead of !A:K. Now fixed.

Curios about the 11,0 though. Would like to understand so that I don't have to bother again.
