    Returning value if number

    Hi guys,

Hopefully you can help. I am also a newbie and needs some help with a report I am playing around with.

Lets say Tab 1 has text in column A numbers in column B and text again (names) in column C. There are blank rows in between.

Is there a formula that I can use to say that if B = number return the exact number in a new Tab. All I came across was that it returned either a true (1) or false (0)

    Thank you for helping

    Re: Returning value if number

You want the values in column B to be tranferred to another sheet.

    The condition for that is:
if col A is blank or col C is blank.

Have I understood correctly? Also Im not sure about formula but I can give you a macro code for this. Please confirm.

    Re: Returning value if number

    That is correct.

I need to do KPIs and this is just a part of it. Instead of me copy and pasting the whole time I would like to have the people on sheet B to copy to sheet A without the blanks.

Once there I would be able to use a vlookup to enter the other criteria like AHT, wrap and QA.

A macro would work just as fine as I need to build a macro in any case to do the whole KPI and safe me the hard labour

The macro is great although it retturns all the values in C and I only need it to return column A,B and C

    Re: Returning value if number

I used the =IFERROR(INDEX formula but when I dragged down it gave me blank values.

I copied the formula on sheet 3 and dragged down

    Hi lobo40us

The formula is an array formula. To commit the formula, ctrl + shift + enter not just enter. See the attached, sheet3 column A.

    Re: Returning value if number

Thanks Kevin. I like the formula. The only problem is it counts 53 and it needs to return 59
