Help with conditional formatting to highllight cells

Hi all,

I think my problem is relatively simple, I just can't quite figure it out. I want to do the following:

Use Conditional Formatting to highlight any cells in one column if they match any of the values in another column.

For example:
Column A contains the following:
A
B
C
D
E

Column B contains the following:
A
B
E

I want to use conditional formatting to highlight any of the cells in column A that match the cells in column B.

It seems excel only lets me do this one cell at a time, which is not helpful. Any and all suggestions would be most appreciated!

Select column A - Got to CF and enter =countif($B$1:$B$100,$A1) as condition. Select format and adapt ranges as needed

At the bottom of the choices the option to "Use a formula to determine which cells to format" - That is where you would enter the formula.
