Need formula to connect sheets

can someone help me pls. I need a formula to conect sheets. i put a name in a related date and to other sheet put a 1 at same date but have already a list. i dont know how to explain but ill send an example.
sheet1 1-Febb 4-Febb 5-Febb the list of names is here
name
paul 1
jesie 1 1

sheet2 when i paste a name here on sheet1 gets 1 one the row of this person at same date
1-Febb 4-Febb 5-Febb

paul jesie
jesie

Okay.. try using below formula:-

Formula:

=IF(ISERROR(MATCH($A3,HLOOKUP(D$1,Sheet2!$1:$4,{2,3,4},0),0)),"",1)

Enter this using ctrl shift enter key combination.. thanks.
