Re: Formula Error when save on excel 2003

    Sorry, I don't mention clearly.

The file before I make a changes, created on excel 2003, then I open it with excel 2010 and make new calculation on cell with that formula.
When I save, it's said the formula will error when it open on excel 2003.

Before this, when i make a changes with formula that has very long checking on one cell, and save it,
it's said if more than 7 nested condition it will error too. But I ignore the message

Off course i know that sum and rounddown exist on excel 2003, but what make me curious are
the short formula like that give me an error message.

The above messages are shown due to non availability of that feature in Excel 2003.

i know that sum and rounddown exist on excel 200, the short formula like that give me an error message
The #Name error will occur when the function is misspelled Or Defined Name is missing Or UDF is Missing or any unwanted space in the function name Or that functions is not available in the current excel version Or Addin needs to be activated.

I am clueless with your situation

    [/QUOTE]

    1. The function is misspelled --> I don't think so, because on excel 2010, the formula work well.
    2. Define Name is missing or UDF is missing --> the file not have any single Define Name or UDF.
    3. Any unwanted space in the function name --> like no.1, on excel 2010, the formula work well.
    4. that functions is not available in the current excel version --> I know the function exist, what i don't know why error message occur
    5. Addin needs to be activated --> just a simple formula and the function already exist on 2003?

No need of the explanation in Post #9 since I already checked everything and that's why I mentioned

I am clueless with your situation
