Post Sum Column based on data from various other columns

    Hi there

I hope you can please help me.

I have a spreadsheet (see attached) where i'm trying to create a sum based on various bits of data from different columns. Basically I want to see if Property User Code (Column A - Tenancies TAB) appears in Place Ref (Column A Repairs TAB) then if thats the case does Date Completed (Column B - Repairs Tab) fall between date ranges from Tenancy Commmencement Date and Tenancy Terminatin Date (Columns E and F - Tenancies TAB) If that's the case then Sum Total Job Value (Column D - Repairs TAB) and place the correct value in blank Column G in Tenancies TAB aganst correct tenancy and tenancy period

Basically I want to know the total costs of repairs against each property tenancy period.

Hope this makes sense and someone can help me. I have tried various formulas but obviously i'm not proficient enough :0(. Would like to be though :0)

    Many thanks and kind regards
    Karen

Re: Sum Column based on data from various other columns

    Hi Visha
Thanks for your reply. Ordinarily this would be correct. However, the completed date in the Repairs TRAB has to fall between the tenancy commencement and ternancy termination dates in the Tenancy TAB and then the correct SUM against the relevent tenancy/property. Make sense?
if only is was that simple as a sumif LOL
    Many thanks
