Searching a text in multiple alternative cells from a different sheet

Hi All,

I am new this forum, so pls forgive me if i the way i have posted is wrong!! its really an urgent requirement for me so need all your help..

Here goes my requirement..

I have two sheets in my excel 2010.

in sheet 1, i need to use the formula.. and the formula will pick the data from sheet 2.

The values in sheet 2 will be A,Q, and E.

Here for my requirement Q will be the lowest of 3 values then A and finally E.

So in sheet 2 the values will be like this on alternative cells

Sheet 2.

A1 C1 E1 G1 I1
Q Q A E E

now in cell A1 of sheet 1, i need to add a formula, which will check in all these alternative cells in sheet 2, and will copy the result to A1 of sheet 1.

The result will be lowest of the values. Here as i said above, Q is the lowest value. so Q will be my result. if Q is not there and A is there then A will be the result.

Please help me how i can incorporate this? this should be done with a formula in excel and not in macro.

in cell A1 use.
=MIN(Sheet2!A1,Sheet2!C1,Sheet2!E1,Sheet2!G1,Sheet2!I1)

I cant use MIN here.. Because it is not a number.. the values wil be A,E and Q. Q will be the lowest then A, then E.
