Importing data from specific cells of a web page

    Hi,

I have an issue with importing data from a web page in excel. The table contains current exchange rates of various currencies with respect to the USD.

The table looks somewhat like this:

    | Current rate | 7 day historical rate | 15 day historical rate | 30 day historical rate

    USD
    EUR
    GBP
    CHF
    INR
    ...

My issue is that, when importing I want to import just the data from the one row pertaining to INR and not the entire table.

    1. Is there a way to import just one particular row of a table from a web page?
    2. Similarly, can value be imported from just one particular cell of a table from the web?

    Thanks!

Yes, but we'd need to see the page - can you post a link?

The page is an internal organization page, so it would not be visible on the internet.

However, I can post a similar link: http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/

Here, there is a main table for USD/EUR categories with Bid | Ask in the column headers and Min | Avg | Max in the row headers.

    i) What if I want to import just the Row pertaining to Avg Rates - how do I do that?
ii) How do I import just the value for Avg Bid rate?
