I just can't seem to get this sorted! I am trying to find the minimum value from a range which is across a number of columns. I have a range named LabourRange and am getting a Value error when I use the following formulae:
It works when I use a single row of data, but gives the error when I use multiple columns.
=SMALL(LabourRange,COUNTIF(LabourRange,0)+1)
Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong?

Where does LabourRange made from?
If LabourRange is a specific range in spreadsheet, that is OK (i.e: A1:C3). But if it is made from a formula (i.e: If(A1:C3>1,A1:C3,"")), COUNTIF(LabourRange,0)
will not work.

Thanks for the quick reply.
The range is selected using the Name Manager from a sheet. However the range is not A6:F15. It is A6:A15,C6:C15,E6:E15,F6:F15
Would this create an error?

Sure this kind of range causes problem with COUNTIF. If possible, pls upload an example file to see what we can do with it,
This version will work with LabourRange when that range is defined as unconnected ranges
=SMALL(LabourRange,INDEX(FREQUENCY(LabourRange,0),1)+1)
