Distribution of a value according to method and frequency

Hi all,

This is a fairly tough one to explain, so I have attached an example.

Essentially I am trying to distribute a value over a number of months, but the distribution is subject to the method of distribution (say bell curve), then frequency (say annually or monthly).

Can anyone help? I really appreciate any input you may have.
