You might get "pulled" by the moderators because of your thread title, so you might want to think about changing it to something like "how can I calculate a percentage uplift?"
While you're about it, perhaps you could confirm what answer you are expecting ... in that you know what you want, just not how to calculate it.
It could be very straightforward if I have understood correctly. Assuming the original value is in cell A2 and the uplift, as a percentage is in B2, I'd expect the uplifted figure to be =A2*(1 + B2). This will work for negative figures too as adding a minus value will subtract it from 1. So, you'd get 104.85% and 97.29% respectively.
If that doesn't help, please post a sample workbook.
