Hi, I have searched and found a couple of things relating to this but nothing I can get to work.
I have a spreadsheet containing conditional formatting:
Rules i,ii,iii,iv and v apply to:
$A:1:$A37,$P$4:$P$37, $R$4:$R$37, $T$4:$T$37, $V$4:$V$37, $X$4:$X$37, $Z$4:$Z$37, $AB$4:$AB$37, $AD$4:$AD$37, $AF$4:$AF$37, $AH$4:$AH$37, $AJ$4:$AJ$37, $AL$4:$AL$37, $AN$4:$AN$37, $AP$4:$AP$37, $AR$4:$AR$37, $AT$4:$AT$37, $AV$4:$AV$37, $AX$4:$AX$37, $AZ$4:$AZ$37, $BB$4:$BB$37
Rule vi applies to:
(and this rule is at the bottom of the order list)
When I delete a column (for example 'F') rule vi moves to the top of the order list and the other 5 rules split up and apply to:
=$O$4:$O$37,$Q$4:$Q$37,$S$4:$S$37
and then
=$U$4:$U$37,$W$4:$W$37,$Y$4:$Y$37,$AA$4:$AA$37,$AC$4:$AC$37,$AE$4:$AE$37,$AG$4:$AG$37,$AI$4:$AI$37,$AK$4:$AK$37,$AM$4:$AM$37,$AO$4:$AO$37,$AQ$4:$AQ$37,$AS$4:$AS$37,$AU$4:$AU$37,$AW$4:$AW$37,$AY$4:$AY$37,$BA$4:$BA$37
The rules "splitting up" is not a major concern as they still work but the order change is a big issue. While I could fix it manually each time, I am distributing the spreadsheet to others and so I need it to just work when they delete a column.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kris
