Filter by item, based on max value for that item ??

Hello,

I have a list of several item numbers in one column. These item numbers are repeated many times and each has several values in a second column. I want to filter this by the maximum value for each item number. I have attached a sample spreadsheet and an example of what the results would look like. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!
