Calculating MEDIAN based on dynamically changing range

Hi

In the attached file, I would like the cell H1 to return the median for the orange cells and the cell H2 to return the median for the yellow cells. In other words, is there a way for the formulae to automatically recognize when non-zero numbers start and end and use that range only and ignore zeros at the beginning and end of the range? I need a general formulae/method that caters to all situations as the numbers in Rows 1 and 2 change all the time.
