Formula to find percentage for a value (Increase/Decrease)

Hello,

I am looking for help to write a formula for % increase/Decrease. Below is the details.

I have 2 values i.e. Old and New Let assume that Old value = 6056 and New value is 9267. i know that the increase value is 3202 but i need the percentage also. If the old value is smaller then the new value it should appear (-) minus sign in percentage.

Can any one help me please.

You want to know what is the percentage of increase and decrease from the old value to new value..right

yes true. I want to know the % whether it is increased or decreased.

You have to use
New value - old value /old value * 100
