I want a cell to be highlighted in red if its value is equal to any date that lies within a huge list of dates that I have written in another sheet.
Is there any way to do this?

Somehow I cannot reference to other worksheets but it worked just fine if I copied the dates in the current sheet. This worked great, thanks.
you'd have to use a named range pre excel 2010
