I need weight loss percentage sheet with acutal pounds lost showing both for 6 people

I need a spreedsheet to help keep weight loss and percentage weight loss for up to 6 people
I would like it to look like this

Date all the way across by week from 1/31/13 to 11/28/13 I know how to do the date formula to make it put the date for next week across kinda like this =b1+7

then I would like to go like this

the numbers and names will just be example

Jane starting weight current weight current weight current weight ect all the way across
200 195 190 185 ect all the way across
this block would be percentage lost calculated as each current weight is put in
this block would be the actual lbs lost all the way across

Next person with the same above calculations

next person with the same above calculations and so on

if anyone can help me with this i would so much greatly appreciate it..

I am new to excellish, but I think I've come up with a viable option for your needs (below is my solution in 2003/2010). The functions are all quite simple and it should be quite easy to manage/update. I quite honestly feel there is a better solution to your problem, one possibly more efficient and succinct. I would welcome additional solutions as I'm curious to see how one more skilled with the program would meet this particular need...

That is what i am looking for but when I copy the formulas to finish out the sheet it gives me errors.. not sure why

This is it with what I call errors its not a clean slate waiting for input there are all kinda value and div stuff.. i dotn know enough aobut it to know why its doing that.. thanks so much

For my solution to work you have to have numbers filled in or else it will show up as an error because of the function requires numbers to be in the cells above it.
Easy Solution: Let the errors be there. They will disappear as you input data.
Hard Solution: Figure out a way for the function to just do nothing if there are no numbers in the cells being "functioned" (nothing comes to mind on how to do this since my knowledge of Excel is minimal...).
