    Need Text and Number in different place

    Hi,

    Pl. help me as m tried so much but can't help it

    i have a sentence in A1

    9627771750XYZ
    ABC9627771751
    AAAAAAAAAA1111111111
    1111111111111BBBBBBBBBB

    now what i need is B1 has all text field and C1 has all number field

    e.g.

    A1 B1 C1
    9627771750XYZ 9627771750 XYZ
    ABC9627771751 9627771751 ABC
    AAAAAAAAAA1111111111 1111111111 AAAAAAAAAA
    1111111111111BBBBBBBBBB 1111111111111 BBBBBBBBBB

    if your data start in A1,

    put this in B1 to extract numbers:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    put this in C1 to extract alphabets:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    these will NOT work for you in case you have numbers interspersed in the alphanumeric string, and not bunched together like they are in your sample data. revert here if that is the case.
