find avg score from year rang

I have a sheet with name date scores and want to find out the average of the top 3 scores within a calendar year. To explain more its the top 3 scores from the last 365 days and then the average of the 3 scores. I can get the average part down but im stumped how to go about the other part of finding the top scores in the calendar year. I know I could use the MAX function to find the top scores but how do you set the range with the last year. Any ideas.

I solved this not sure if its the best way but I found out the scores that were not older than 365 days and just put them in another column. and If they were older I put a 0. Then I just looked for the top 3 scores in that column. Here is my final result.

Regret for the delayed reply, since I was involved in writing macro's for the other questions.

I am unable to understand your data and it's structure, I can not able to see any meaning full headers and your way of calculation and all....
