Formula to split last name before comman and all names after comma into separate cells

You can use the "Convert Text to Columns" wizard under the "Data" heading.

Step 1 - Select Delimited (click Next)
Step 2 - Select the Comma Delimiter (click Next)
Step 3 - Select General data format (click Finish)

that should do it!
