Formula to show if new date is within range

    Hi

I am looking for a way to show if a programmed course is within the 2 year period in which it is required. I have a spreadsheet which i have formatted it to show the dates the course is required. Once the programmed date is inserted i would like it to go green if it is within the 2 year period and red if outside. I can do it for a single entry but not for full columns. I have a number of sheets to add this to, can anyone help please.

    Excel 2010.

    Thankssample.xlsx

    HI Rick448,

programmed date would be entered in column C, correct ? And if that date is within 2 years from TODAY, then it will be green else Red, correct ?

Sorry, the programmed date needs to being within 2 years of the date due (2nd column) if yes then green if no then red, if no entry either blank or red. The date due changes once a course attendance has been filled in, this column is conditionally formatted and linked to give a due date 730 days later.

    Thanks

Re: Formula to show if new date is within range

Doh how stupid am I?? What is meant to happen is, if the date in the programmed column is after the date in the due column it should be red, if it is before or equal to it should be green. If blank it should be red. If you could look at that for me please that would be much appreciated. I need to be able to copy it to a worksheet with a number of tabs, and new sheets when they are produced.

    Many thanks
