Ranking tournament points formula?

Hi.

I have a spreadsheet set up for a tournament. (attached)

I have a rankings sheet that I would like to automatically calculate ranking points depending on where a player finishes in a tournament.

For example: On the Tournament worksheet - if 'Player 1' wins the tournament, the rankings sheet updates and gives 'Player 1' 12 points. If he makes the final, 10 points. 8 for Semi, 6 for Quarter, 4 for Last 16, 2 for 2nd round and 0 for Round 1....and so on for each player.

However, the players won't always be in the same position in the tournament bracket as the draw will be random.

Is this possible? It's beyond me.
