    Copying a formula down

Another rookie question... How do I copy the formula down the sheet so that I do not have to input each formula in each cell? Sorry and thanks again

    Re: Copying a formula down

There are many ways. One way which you can use if you have something in the column next to the formula (on either side) is to select the cell with the formula in and double-click the fill handle, which is the small black square in the bottom right corner of the cursor. This will copy the formula down (and adjust the cell references as appropriate) to the bottom of any contiguous data.

Another way is to select the cell and click <copy>, then move the cursor into the next cell, hold down the shift key then click on the bottom cell, and then press <Enter>.

    Hope this helps.
