I have two separate excel workbooks. One has named references, and the other has the references used inside of formulas. When I copy the tabs with the formulas into the workbook where the references are defined, the formulas don't update. My question is, is there a way to automatically update the formulas after they've been copied in?

- Hundreds of named references, each a single cell
- Thousands of uses of those named references
I figured out that if you edit the cells with the formulas and don't change anything, the formulas use the named references in the new document. I've also removed all links.
Also, I'm trying to figure this out for work, since that's the way that my boss is hoping to have things work.
