Trigger Change Event

Hi All,

I import stock exchange data into an Excel spreadsheet which auto-updates every minute.
I tried to catch possible changes by the Sheet Change Event but that does not work with web linked data.

Is there a way to auto-process that data in my spreadsheet such that the Change Event function gets triggered?

Hi,

On the face of it there's no reason why a sheet change event should not work in the circumstances you describe. Please upload your workbook so that we can see the request in context.

thank you very much for your fast reply.
I am NOT a VBA-expert but I use Excel daily as an evaluation tool.
I attach my workbook that contains code provided by a very friendly internet person.

It gets its data from another workbook which only connects to the net.

Your A1 cell is referring to another workbook STOCKS.xlsb which of course I don't have. Can you upload that too.

Is this other STOCKS workbook also open in memory, and is that workbook linked to your web data?
