What conditional formatting do you want to apply and to which cells?
If posting code please use code tags, see here.
the notes for conditional formating are within the spreadsheet, i typed what is needed
Ah, missed that.
Still not clear which ranges to apply it do though.
the range for across is within the cells (A-AD) as far as how far to go down with the spreadsheet you can set a limit to cell 5000 or infinate (if thats possible)
Time to get your feet wet!

Try this.
Select Z2:Z5000, goto conditional formatting, select the Use formula... option, enter this formula,
=$J2<>"CS"
and format as required.
Select A2:AD5000, goto conditional formatting, select the Use formula... option, enter this formula,
=$P2="VOID
and format as required.
Select V2:V5000, goto conditional formatting, select Format Only cells... option and select No Blanks from the dropdown and format as required.
almost there i was able to take some info you gave and got to work as i needed, but still stuck on conditional format horzontal, see last two comments. Feel free to add to workbook and try out
Why didn't you use what I suggested for the 2nd format?
You need the 'Use formula...' option if you want to format cells other than the one you are checking.
