    Conditional Formatting

Is it possible to keep the conditional format of a cell permanent once the condition of the formula has been met? Once this condition is met in any cell, I would like the format(mine is a highlighting) to be premanent. Here is the formatting I am using. Appreciate any help. Thanks.
    =SUBSTITUTE($M$1," ","" )= $P2 & Q$1

    Re: Conditional Formatting

    Hi MPXJOHN,

As per my knowledge, its not possible.
You need to remove conditional formatting and apply the format - either manually or using some macro but the point is some one need to do it either by human or computer
