    Wink Word from A added to B -> C

    Hi Guys and Gals!

    My first post here, I have been lurking around for years on the excel forum,
    just love it, it really helped me a lot over the years, both in college and at my word place.

    Today I need your help again!
    I couldn't find the answer anywhere online, so here it goes.

    a word in column A, needs to replace a word in column B - either put it in C or just replace it in B.

    See attached, it will make better sense maybe.

    thank you so much.

    Use SUBSTITUTE. Replace the fixed text "replace" with the contents of column A.

    Re: Word from A added to B -> C

    or, In B1 :
    ="www."&A1&".mywebsite.com"
    copy down

    Edit_
    if you have "www.replace.mywebsite.com" stored in say D1, then
    in B1:
    =SUBSTITUTE($D$1,"replace",A1)
    drag down
