Showing text in a text string.....

Ok bit a of self taught person here but here goes.

I'm trying to make a spreadsheet to show various things to do with English Premier League Football (or soccer...).

So everything is driven from a spreasheet which is a basic list of the fixtures that go

Home Team|Goals|W/D/L|vs|Away Team|Goals|W/D/L

So basically what it shows in another sheet so far is average goals per game for both home and away teams when you enter in the weeks fixtures.

What I want it to show is W/D/L (which is win/draw/loss). Now is there a function that will search a list of teams say in the Home Team for the season and return in order that teams 'Form' . So for example it may show: WDDDW (FOR WIN, DRAW, DRAW, DRAW, DRAW, WIN).

As we already enter the W/D/L it would just be a case of say matching Arsenal (a team name) and it returning this in a text string.
