Count Once When Several Columns Combined are Unique & a Condition (Help)

    Hello everyone,

I need to count the number of unique combinations with multiple columns (4). Once with a condition and once without and once with a placeholder for an additional condition.

I can't do this in Pivot, VBA or Macro. It's got to be Formula / Array based for usability.

So here it goes.... I need to...

    VERSION 1
Count Unique / Distinct Combination of A2:A51000, B2:B51000, C2:C51000, D2:D51000 (note: one combination, not permutated)

    VERSION 2 (Blue is new)
Count Unique / Distinct Combination of A2:A51000, B2:B51000, C2:C51000, D2:D51000 (note: one combination, not permutated) & E2:E51000 is less than 11

    VERSION 3 (Blue is new)
    Count Unique / Distinct Combination of A2:A51000, B2:B51000, C2:C51000, D2:D51000 (note: one combination, not permutated) & E2:E51000 is less than 11 & X2:X51000 = "X".

Note: The values / text within A, B, C & D are counted once as unique if when all are combined together, they are unique.

Thank you VERY much for your help....

    sounds like a homework assignment?

combine all cells using =A1&B1&C1 etc (adjust ranges), then do a countif() based on that

or try playing around with the countifS() function

    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
