    please help - what formula?????

I am trying to creating a manning list for work, there are ten people listed and i have given each a number 1 - 10.
For quickness i want to be able enter any one of the ten numbers into a cell and the person who is that number name will appear when you press enter.

=$cell number works but i dont want to put the formula in every time.
I have also played around with substitute but it then gets complicated and have to put formulas into other cells and can only get it to select one name.

    very frustrated,

    Thanks,

    Stuart

    Hi Rushbrook
