How to solve same date problem in "Summary List"?

Hi Pete,
The "Summary List" problem you solved has been running flawlessly, until now.
It happened that 2 entries came out with the same "New Date". The list does show 2 results, but both refer to the same (first) item, with the second item not showing at all.
Working manually around the problem now by entering a different date for one of the two entries, and then both show correctly.
Is there an easy way to fix this?

Of course, anybody is welcome look into it. Sorry about the confusion. I just wrote it this way because it was for me a relatively complex problem and it was solved nicely. So he appeared best suited to follow it up. But for all I know he may be busy or not look into it, and I appreciate help from all sides.
The "Summary list" thread can be found when searching Pete-UK on page 27. Strangely, it did not appear in the search list under my name.

I had visitors over the weekend, so it would have been a bit rude to keep checking my computer.

I don't know which file or which thread you are referring to - please post a sample file which shows the difficulty you are facing.

Here is the original sheet with the error illustrated and explained.

Change the formula in Q6 to this:

=IF(P6="","",P6+VLOOKUP(K6,Z:AA,2,0)+ROWS($1:1)/1000000)

then copy down. this should give you a sufficient tie-break for many thousands of rows.
