Calculating between dates w/ twist

Calculating between dates, if the # < 7 (days) than it will show its true value but if the # of days > 7 than the max value can only be 7. How can I write that in excel?

Do you want to say... if dates difference is less than 7, then show the actual difference BUT if difference is more than 7, then show 7 ? Thanks.
