Help with formula for checking most recent update

    Hi Guys

As a newbie to the forum i would like to thank anyone that can help with my query.

First i have attached a example of what i am trying to achieve. excel_help.png

What i would like is for a formula to check which % is the most recently updated in Column B, then return the text from Column A into C16.

Then in i want to check in D16 the most recent updated % in Column B against the corresponding target in Column C and return either a value of 0,1,2 (0 being >10% outside of target, 1 being upto 9% of target, and 2 being Target or more). For colour i can do this via conditional format (i know how to do this)

I appreciate my explanation may not be so clear but any advice you can give is much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Neil

Re: Help with formula for checking most recent update

Thanks for the assistance, however it is not quite what i am looking for.

I have attached another example workbook which hopefully describes better what i am looking for.

    Let me explain the background:

Every month i update a chart with actual status, from the data i enter each month i would like a simple indicator to show Red, Orange or Green status. I do not want to have to keep changing formulas etc each month i would like to just input data and let the chart sort itself.

    Thanks again

Hi, the formula is working fine for displaying the date in C16

However the other formula to check actual % against target is not quite ready.

I have attached another sheet for your support.

    Thanks again
