    Locking Cells and Showing All

    Hi,

I am working on a Shared Excel 2003 Workbook, of which I have locked several specific Cells so as to ensure they are not altered. However having done so and resharing the Workbook, the ability to "Data > Filter > Show All" is now greyed out, no matter what filters may or may not be applied.

If I remove the protection it all works fine again.

Is there any way I can get round this? Im sure there's a very simple solution but I can't figure it out.

    Many Thanks in advance.

Once the sheet is protected then you can't apply filter even though none of the cell is locked.

I already have the auto filters on and I am able to use them. I just cant get the workbook to "Show All" again, so I have to manually use the filter again and select All.
