    IFS help

This is my first post. I aprreciate the help...

I have a range of 20 cells, and want to report the number of them that fall above a certain level (.500) in a percentage format, while turning the cell a different color.

So if 1 of the 20 cells is a value <.5, I want the cell to read "5 %" and the cell to turn to yellow highlight. Any takers?

    Re: IFS help

    Use conditional formatting CF

-- select your range of data
-- in CF use =A1<0.5 format as %age, fill yellow
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!

    Re: IFS help

This will give you your result (how may cell values are less than .5) within the range of A1:A20: =COUNTIF(A1:A20,"<.5")/COUNT(A1:A20)
