Hi - First ever forum & consequently first ever post! So please be kind I need help on calculating a formula that works backwards from total hours worked daily. First 7.2 hours are regular pay, next 2 hours are time and a half anything following this is double time. I don't need the calculation of pay rates - just the hour totals. However if working under 7.2 hours (or not at all) it has to reflect accordingly. I have been able to get the formulas for the regular & double time - but not the tricky 2 hours in the middle. =MIN($B$11,Sheet1!B3) this formula works for the regular =MAX(0,B5-2) and this works for double time (anything after 7.2 + 2). Any help would be greatly appreciated, as my brain is frazzled at the moment
