Hi,
Im currently working on a system for absences.
I have a lump of data for people who have been absent (employee reference, Names, Absence start data, end date); that means someone called Tom Jerry can have 5 records listed in that lump for different days he has been absent for different periods.
What I wish to be able to do is put the count of times he has been absent with a total of the days in one row?
Some assistance please?

Im trying to make it easier for managers to view this information instead of looking at rows of data. Any advice what might be a better layout?
