Using Autofill when multiplying with a constant cell

    Hi,

I'm looking to find a solution to this issue:

I have a large range of cells (A1 through A35) which I want multiplied by a constant cell C1.
Every time I enter the formula into the first cell and drag the autofill down it keeps updating to C2, C3 etc.

So what I'm looking for is an easy way to have, without typing it.
    =A1*C1
    =A2*C1
    =A3*C1

    Any suggestions?

Change C1 to $C$1 by selecting it and pressing F4.

Does it make a difference that A1, A2 etc are actually a sum of other numbers on the sheet?

It doesn't seem to be doing the math properly.

Nevermind. It seems to have fixed itself. Thanks
